8 Random Facts About Me

I unexpectedly got tagged by Currawong. I don’t think there’s much point in these memes, but I’m happy to give it a try. Here’s the rules:

  1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
  2. People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
  3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.

Well, what can I say.

  1. I greatly enjoyed building the technical framework to host a blog.
  2. While I have strong opinions and a great desire to share them through this web log, I have almost a fear of posting them. (Hence the feebleness of this site, and the length of time it took to post this).
  3. I find it much easier to communicate with text then I do with speech, especially in social situations.
  4. I have been learning foil for more than 10 years.
  5. I collect comic books. My favourite artists are Frank Cho and Budd Root.
  6. I think the likelihood of any deities existing to be extremely low.
  7. I love reading books and watching documentaries on science history.
  8. I lived in Poland for three years growing up.

Now, the meme dies. The people I know I’d be comfortable inflicting with this don’t have web logs.

iPod Touch

I decided to treat myself to a new iPod recently. The iPod Touch is a blow your mind product. I am extremely happy with it, but there are a few things that could make it the most amazing product released this year. (Well, the iPhone might be better, but it isn’t available in Australia easily). My main complaint is the lack of calender editing and a notes application. The reason for their exlusion seems to be to avoid canabalising iPhone sales. After having used this for a while, I’d sure get an iPhone. Typing is much easier than I thought it would be.This post was written on my new iPod.
